Adding a Theme to Your Outdoor Deck

You can apply a theme to more than just a party; a unique theme can enhance your entire outdoor garden.  Your Eva-tech deck can become the inspiration to create the exotic paradise you’ve always wanted.  Sound corny?  It doesn’t have to be.  A themed outdoor living space is an opportunity for you to go on holiday in your own backyard.  In order to decide which type of theme will work best for your home and Eva-tech sundeck, think about trips you’ve taken that have left you feeling calm and collected.   They might have been trips to faraway lands or just weekend excursions to the bush.  Create the same serenity in your garden by incorporating inspirational elements from other places you love.  Here are a few ideas of themes that can transform your outdoors and make your composite deck all the more appealing.

Zen Garden

Bring the “om” out of your home (Ok, that was a bit corny) by looking to the East.  Zen gardens inspire the peacefulness of Zen Buddhist temples.  They can provide just the break you need after a rough day at the office.  Bring a piece of Japan home to South Africa by adding the rock lined paths, terraces and verandas that characterise Zen garden creations.  Don’t let wood sealants and treatments interrupt your meditation.  Use Eva-tech composite for low maintenance walkways and structures.

Balinese Sanctuary

Even if you don’t live in Indonesia you can enjoy the look and feel of Ubud right at home.  Give your garden a spa-like feel by adding calming hues and sweet smelling flowers.  Adding a water feature heightens the feeling of being far from your worries and cares.  Eva-tech composite is highly moisture resistant, so don’t worry about a fountain splashing on to your deck.

Make your home your personal sanctuary by incorporating a unique theme to your deck and garden.
