Stay Cool on Your Eva-tech Deck

Summer’s here and, while the time may be right for dancing in the streets, it’s an even better time to find ways to stay cool.  Sure you could find a shady spot to nap, or lounge indoors and crank up the air conditioning.  But for those of you who want to stay active and enjoy the summer sun without agonising in the heat, consider adding a pool and deck to your garden.

Hours spent sweating in the sun are suddenly replaced with hours spent splashing around like a fool in the nice cool water.  A pool and poolside deck creates a weekend retreat in your own garden.

Adding a pool doesn’t have to be hugely expensive.  Instead of an Olympic size water playground, consider adding a smaller plunge pool.  Paired with a surrounding Eva-tech deck it will make a statement, add value to your home and add hours of fun to your summer.

Eva-tech decking is ideal for poolside applications.  It’s highly moisture resistant and barefoot friendly; no splinters or cracking to worry about.  Eva-tech wood plastic composite (WPC) is not only a green alternative to timber, it’s also low maintenance.  That means you can spend more time enjoying your pool and deck, and less time working on it.

A poolside deck becomes prime real estate for summer braais and family get-togethers.  Imagine enjoying a glass of lemonade with your feet dangling into your very own pool, or teaching your kids the art of making monster splashes.

Eva-tech professionals are available to help you design and implement your perfect poolside deck and summer oasis.

I love this post. It's easy to think you can't afford a pool, but after just 5 months of saving my husband and I were able to install a gorgeous pool and deck.

I've always wanted a pool but never thought I could afford one. This summer has been so hot that I finally decided to give in and get one. Best decision I've made! My kids love it and I find we spend so much time together as a family playing in the pool.
