Eva-Last Enjoys Television Exposure

The Home Channel, June 13, 2011 –Eva-Last was proudly featured on the popular Home Channel programme Sheer Design.  The show follows interior designer Candice Woodward and her fiancé as they remodel their home using glass.  The use of glass and windows showcases the Woodward’s garden, bringing the outdoors in.  Candice decided to maximise the function and style of her garden by including an Eva-tech WPC deck, sponsored by Eva-Last.

Candice explained her choice to use Eva-tech WPC, stating, “I used Eva-tech for a previous project at a client’s house and was so impressed with the durability of the maintenance free deck that I decided to use it in my own home. The colour range has also expanded since my client’s project so I got the exact colour I was looking for.”

Eva-Last director, Nathan Chapman, enjoyed a moment in the spotlight when he was asked to appear on the show to explain the features of Eva-tech.  “It was a great experience,” he commented afterwards.  “WPC is an amazing material – it’s good for the environment and extremely low-maintenance – but a lot of South Africans don’t know much about it and still think wood is their only option for decking.   Being on Sheer Design lets people see that they have choices when it comes to their decking material.”

Eva-tech WPC is created from recycled wood fibres and plastic, making it highly weather resistant and virtually maintenance free.  Eva-tech’s ten-year warranty ensures against any rotting, warping, cracking or splitting.

“We love our new deck,” said Candice, “It has brought an amazing dimension to the patio and we get a lot of compliments!”

Sheer Design airs on the Home Channel 182 on Mondays, 7pm.  If you missed it the first time,  you can catch Eva-Last on Sheer Design during Home Channel reruns, Tuesdays at 7pm, Wednesdays at 10:30pm, Thursdays at 3pm, Saturdays at 1 and 10pm, and Sundays at 8am and 5pm.
