Today we will be hosting an Eva-tech information session at Pennypinchers Montague Gardens. We hope to be able to answer customer questions and help familiarize the employees with Eva-tech, and composite in general. Over the course of many information sessions, training sessions, exhibitions and general interaction with customers, we’ve found that certain questions about composite pop up again and again. Here are a few of those questions, with answers that we hope you will find helpful.

Another short week. Another public holiday on the horizon. Another reason to be proud to be South African.
With Workers’ Day just around the corner (hello, Tuesday!), it’s time to quickly get your business done at the office and gear up for another chance to go all out, and then sleep in. No matter your job title or description, tomorrow’s a chance to congratulate yourself on contributing to your community and your country. In other words...go wild!

April is a great month to be South African.
With four shortened work weeks in a row, it’s the perfect time of year to stretch out and enjoy the last remains of summer. However in the midst of long weekends and party plans, it’s easy to forget why exactly we have all these public holidays. You suddenly start to confuse National Braai Day (aka Heritage Day) with Women’s Day and Youth Day.

Wow. What else can you say about someone who puts their own life at risk for the sake of the environment? That’s just what Ikal Angelei has done as part of her fearless effort to preserve Lake Turkana, a World Heritage site in East Africa’s Rift Valley.

Happy Earth Day! While Saint Patrick’s Day might be the big green day of the year, Earth Day is, perhaps, the more important one. Sure, Earth Day doesn’t have dancing leprechauns or four leaf clovers parading the streets, but it does have the potential to make you stop and think for a moment about what the Earth has given to you. It’s an opportunity to break from routine and spend a little time reflecting on the beauty, the mystery and the delicacy of our planet. If we all did this a bit more often chances are we’d remember to take better care of our home.
Here are a few things to think about on Sunday, April 22, taken directly from a few of our favourite websites.

It’s the age old question: Why do bad things happen to good people? Why do nice people get hurt, get parking tickets and why does bad decking happen to good people? While your sense of justice may say that only the mean, the grumpy and the ornery should be cursed with warped decking, you know the reality. Even the kindest of the kind and the sweetest of the sweet of our human race may become victim to decks that fall apart, rot out from under them and leave splinters in their feet. Life can be a cruel, cruel thing.

Eva-tech decking looks so dang good that we decided our vehicles needed a makeover just to keep up. And like Anne Hathaway after her Princess Diaries makeover, our vehicles look gorgeous. So when you see one of our dolled up Eva-tech trucks driving around the Jo’burg and Pretoria areas, feel free to gawk and stare. No need to be modest about this one – we’re cruisin’ in style.

It’s time to deck the halls – or deck the deck – for the holiday that’s right around the corner. No, it’s not Christmas, but Easter is a great time to get the family or neighbourhood together. And even if you’re not celebrating Easter, four days off from work is the perfect excuse for anyone to celebrate. With the super long weekend just days away it’s time to celebrate in style right on your very own outdoor deck.
Here’s how.

We're not saying that popularity is the most imporatnt thing. But is nice when people like you. And they did like us - a lot - at the WoodEx show. Then again, what's not to like? Read the full story at our News and Events page. Thanks to everyone who helped make WoodEx 2012 a huge success!
