Summer’s here and, while the time may be right for dancing in the streets, it’s an even better time to find ways to stay cool.  Sure you could find a shady spot to nap, or lounge indoors and crank up the air conditioning.  But for those of you who want to stay active and enjoy the summer sun without agonising in the heat, consider adding a pool and deck to your garden.

Hours spent sweating in the sun are suddenly replaced with hours spent splashing around like a fool in the nice cool water.  A pool and poolside deck creates a weekend retreat in your own garden.

Adding a pool doesn’t have to be hugely expensive.  Instead of an Olympic size water playground, consider adding a smaller plunge pool.  Paired with a surrounding Eva-tech deck it will make a statement, add value to your home and add hours of fun to your summer.
