ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conduct product knowledge meetings (ECD) on Eva-Last products to Architects, engineers, interior designers, and developers.
  • Maintain an active opportunity pipeline through weekly architectural, engineer, designers, and multifamily developer visits.
  • Interact with projects division and local fabricators to facilitate project costings for proposals and execution of specification projects.
  • Fully understand and analyze architectural plans and manage the necessary coordination with the design takeoffs, project costing and final proposals for specification projects.
  • Maintain and increase product knowledge to remain current in the industry and market.
  • Input opportunities into CRM to manage projects and keep data up to date so Leadership can accurately communicate monthly forecasts of expected sales volume by product line. Track KPIs (conversion ratios).
  • Develop excellent long-term business relationships with Architects, Specifiers, designers, and engineers within the region.
  • Respond in a timely manner to all leads. Properly qualify and convert into viable opportunities.
  • Maintains knowledge of local building trends, code, and compliances. Coordinate projects anticipate customer needs, planning, ordering, and issue resolution.
  • Performs analysis or calculations as required.
  • Applies discipline design and detailing fundamentals in developing designs and specifications under the supervision of and subject to final approval by the Licensed Professional.
  • Prepares supporting documentation for presentation to the architect regarding specification.
  • Provides analysis on product comparisons and application assistance.
  • Assist in hands-on site installation training for new customers and/or subs.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
    • Bachelor’s degree beneficial.
    • Architectural qualification/experience would be advantageous.
    • Professional Industry affiliations will be a plus.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    • CRM experience and ECD presentations completed will be an asset.
    • Bilingual a plus.
CERTIFICATES/LICENSES/REGISTRATIONS:
  • Valid South African driver license and own vehicle essential.
